2 months in

My first post.  Lyon is amazingly charming.  I love the renaissance and medieval architecture, the cobblestone streets, the cafe's, the french culture in general, which is so different from the states.  The whole experience has been quite an adventure.  We have had some great family time exploring our new city.  Here are a couple of pics:

J'aime la baguette, le fromage, et le vin!  We live in the old part of the city, and are so happy every day to walk out our door and be here.  Every day we walk by the beautiful Cathedral St. Jean. There are things that I don't like:  I do not like the taggers, (not artsy, pretty much just defacing property), or the strikes (vive la France!), or the dog s**t in the streets.  Sierra loves her school!  She is off to Barcelona this week on a 3 day field trip.  Her next field trip is skiing in the Alps! 

We love living here, although we do miss our family and friends, and think of them often.
